Limited Warrantee |
A. WARRANTEE COVERAGE:-
|
Mewat Tire & Rubber Pvt. Ltd. warrants
that its Passenger, Truck, Mining,
Industrial, Off-The-Road, and Farm
tires bearing Mewat’s name and or
serial number and tires imported by
Mewat Tire & Rubber Pvt. Ltd., are free from defects in material
and workmanship for the periods set
forth below when mounted, serviced
and used in a reasonable manner. Many
times the cause of the condition in
the tire is not obvious. A warrantee
adjustment does not mean that a determination
was made that there was a defect in
the workmanship or the materials.
If a Mewat Tire & Rubber Pvt.
Ltd. bearing Mewat’s name and /or
serial number and tires imported by
Mewat Tire & Rubber Pvt. Ltd.,
proves to be adjustable during the
tread life of the tire, but limited
to the first 60 months from the date
of manufacture, Mewat Tire & Rubber
Pvt. Ltd. or its representative will,
at its option, either (i) repair it
or (ii) make a reasonable allowance
on the purchase of a new tire of the
prevailing available comparative model,
provided your warrantee claim is properly
submitted. If the tire is replaced,
the charge of replacement tire will
be equal to percentage of the tire
tread design times the Mewat Tire
& Rubber Pvt. Ltd. dealers current
price for the replacement tire, net,
plus applicable Federal, State and
local taxes. For Example, if the tire
proves to be adjustable when the tread
design is worn 25%, the charge for
the replacement tire will be equal
to 25% of the current price of the
replacement tire, net plus applicable
taxes. The percentage of the tire
tread design worn will be determined
by taking the average of 3 measurements
around the tire tread at the fastest
wearing grove and prorating according
to the molded depth measurement of
the same groove.
